Partnership between SCDC and CAPA
CAPA AeroPark is a joint venture between CAPA and the Subramanya Construction & Development Company Limited (SCDC), a privately-held premier Bangalore-based developer with real estate assets across South India and Mumbai. The Group’s core expertise is in developing technology parks, integrated townships and commercial properties, which is now being leveraged to expand into exclusive residential, luxury hotels and retail projects. SCDC has also commenced diversification into areas such as private education, aviation, tea plantations and technology, which will progressively continue over the next 5 years. It has recently made an investment in Notion Ink, developer of a new revolutionary mobile computing device, the Adam.
The CAPA AeroPark JV will invest US$125 million in the development of this world class initiative. The combination of CAPA and SCDC brings together capital and intellectual property to support this vision at the heart of the world’s fastest growing aviation markets.

"We are delighted to partner with CAPA to bring this unique project to Bangalore, which will be vital for developing a professional, sustainable and safe aviation industry, and will help position India as a globally competitive aviation and aerospace hub. SCDC’s core expertise is in creating high quality business parks, townships and commercial properties, experience which we will leverage to ensure that CAPA AeroPark is a premium development. This is SCDC’s first major foray into the private education sector and we will soon follow with initiatives in hospitality and healthcare." |

"CAPA is excited to launch this new and vital concept in India. The aviation industries in India and the Middle East are expected to see investment in excess of US$200 billion over the next decade and availability of skills is critical to support this. CAPA AeroPark’s vision of an international standard, integrated aviation university and multi- disciplinary training campus will support the long term development of the industry. The complementary strengths of CAPA and SCDC in aviation and major project development are ideally matched to bring this initiative to fruition." |
